Manufactured-On-Demand (MOD) discs are manufactured using the laser burning process and are dark brown on the playable side of the disc. MOD is the only way to obtain a physical DVD or Blu-ray disc of a title not sold in retail stores and/or is only available via streaming. All MOD titles are high-quality printed by distributor brand new sealed exactly as shown in the item photos.

Most modern DVD movies are presented in 480p video and are considered 'Standard Definition'. Most modern Blu-ray movies are presented in 720p or 1080p video and are both considered 'High Definition'.
